Even therapists need therapy
We invite licensed and unlicensed therapists, psychologists, social workers, and students in grad school into their own therapy.
Therapists are often raised to not take care of themselves. You were reinforced for attuning to the pain of others, but not as much to attune to your own pain. Now, seeking therapy can seem odd, anxiety-producing, and a bit foreign. It’s okay to be the therapist, but a whole other thing to be the client.
I know, I’ve been there. Seeking my own therapy made me a better therapist.
Would you like longer-term clients?
Your own therapy will lead to deeper work with your clients. Have you had the experience yet of knowing that you have an issue that is probably affecting your work? All therapists have these issues. The goal is to process them so they can be used as a tool to facilitate a more profound work with your clients.
Need BBS Hours?
Some of you are looking for therapy to knock off some BBS hours, or to fulfill a school requirement. I remembere those days. You are invited to come and take part in therapy, staying as little or as long as you'd like.
Don't withhold from yourself
what you so freely give to others.
